The Middle East frequently makes U.S. headlines with stories of protests and conflict.

But a new exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston offers a different view — by looking at the region through women’s eyes.

“She Who Tells A Story” is the first show of its kind in the U.S., and includes work from 12 female photographers from across the Arab world and Iran.

From the Here & Now Contributors Network Asma Khalid of WBUR reports.
