NYC’s Web Of Cameras Can Catch Unattended Bags

The most extensive and sophisticated surveillance operation is in New York City.

The cameras are linked up with sophisticated computer programs that can pinpoint suspicious activity, for example, if someone leaves a bag on the street and walks away.

The system reportedly cost $200 million.
