Anthony Horowitz Brings A Fan’s Love To Writing Sherlock Holmes

Author Anthony Horowitz. (Adam Scourfield)

The Sherlock Holmes character is as popular as ever with modern day adaptations on BBC and CBS. But for those who prefer their Holmes traditional, British author Anthony Horowitz has written a Victorian-era Sherlock Holmes novel “The House of Silk.”

It’s authorized by the estate of Arthur Conan Doyle, Holmes’ creator, and it features many characters Sherlock fans know and love including Inspector Lestrade, the Baker Street Irregulars, and of course, Holmes’ chronicler and faithful sidekick Doctor Watson.

This interview originally broadcast in 2011.
