The Many Voices Of Singer Martin Sexton

Singer-guitarist John Mayer says Martin Sexton is the best live performer he has ever seen. Fans in Philadelphia will get a chance to see him Friday when he plays a show at World Cafe Live.

Sexton, who lives in western Massachusetts, has a soaring voice that he uses as an instrument just like his guitar as he crafts infectious rock and soul with a powerful message.

Here and Now‘s Alex Ashlock spoke with Sexton before a recent show at the House of Blues here in Boston.

Sexton’s latest album is “Fall Like Rain.”
