Revisiting A Conversation With Author Bill Bryson

Books such as “A Walk In the Woods,” In A Sunburned Country,” and “A Short History of Nearly Everything” have given bestselling author Bill Bryson a reputation for quirky, engaging writing and exhaustive research.

Bryson combines all of these qualities in his book, “At Home” — which will be released in paperback this week. “At Home” takes Bryson’s current residence, a Victorian parsonage in Norfolk, England, as a starting point for an examination of 19th century domestic life. Here and Now producer Emiko Tamagawa spoke with Bill Bryson at last year’s Boston Book Fair.

This segment originally aired on 12/22/10.
