Tea Party activists are getting plenty of headlines this Labor Day weekend. In New Hampshire, former Vice Presidential GOP nominee Sarah Palin is headlining a Tea Party Express event. Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney took part in a Tea Party Express event in New Hampshire yesterday.

But what’s going on behind the scenes as local Tea Party groups jockey with well-funded national organizations for attention and donors.
