President’s Budget Slashes 200 Federal Programs, Republicans Call For More

President Obama’s $3.7 trillion budget would reduce or entirely eliminate more than 200 federal programs next year, including programs like water treatment plants and community develop block grants, long-championed by Democrats.

Republicans are criticizing the President, saying his cuts still leave spending at unsustainable levels. We’ll look at the budget battles and the week ahead with Rick Klein, Senior Washington Editor for ABC World News, and host of the ABC News political webcast “Top Line.”
