Two years ago this week, bestselling author Bruce Feiler underwent 15 hours of surgery to remove a malignant tumor from his leg.

We want to revisit a conversation we had with Bruce about the book he wrote about his experience with cancer. It’s called “The Council of Dads,” and it’s about the group of men Bruce identified to take his place for his young daughters if he died.  Today, we’re happy to report, Feiler is cancer-free.
